Our Story

Petal by Petal began in honor of my sister, Dawn.

After losing her to cancer, I needed somewhere to put my grief, somewhere to grow something beautiful from something incredibly hard.

What started as a small roadside flower stand has became something more meaningful than I ever imagined. Last year, every single dollar earned was donated to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in honor of her memory.

Petal by Petal is more than a flower stand, it’s a space where beauty, grief, generosity, and community meet.

And it continues to grow, one season at a time.

Our Commitment

As Petal by Petal evolves, we are building a sustainable model that allows this small flower stand to continue giving back for years to come.

10% of every transaction supports Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in honor of Dawn. During our first season, the Petal by Petal farm stand raised $1,000. We proudly matched that gift, allowing us to donate $2,000 to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Each week during the growing season, one bouquet will be gifted locally through our kindness initiative to someone impacted by cancer or grief.

We  look forward to continuing to share her story in new ways, allowing these flowers to carry light, comfort, and happiness into the lives of others.

Growing beautifully. Giving intentionally.

Training & Ongoing Learning

In addition to completing the Floret Flower Arranging Workshop, I continue to pursue education in floral design and sustainable mechanics, deepening my skills as the garden, and this little business, continue to grow.
