A New Dawn
A kindness Initiative by Petal by Petal
I know how heavy grief and loss can feel. I also understand the quiet strength it takes to face an unknown diagnosis or to care for someone you love through illness. These seasons can feel long and lonely.
A New Dawn was created from that place, in honor of my sister Dawn, as a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, there is always light ahead.
During our growing season, one bouquet each week will be gifted within our neighboring communities of Thomaston, Watertown, and Northfield to someone impacted by cancer, caregiving, or loss. A small offering of beauty. A reminder that someone sees you, someone cares, and you are not alone.

How it Works
To share "A New Dawn" with someone special, we simply ask that you include a brief note about the recipient and why you feel they could use a little extra light right now.
One bouquet is gifted each week during the growing season. Recipients should live in Thomaston, Northfield or Watertown for local delivery; if they are outside these towns, we’re happy to coordinate a porch pickup instead.
Each bouquet is thoughtfully designed using what is most beautiful in bloom that week in the garden, and delivery timing is arranged directly with the recipient.
All submissions are kept private and reviewed with care. While we wish we could honor every nomination, selections are made thoughtfully based on the stories shared and the season’s availability.
Our hope is simple, to bring a small moment of beauty during a hard season.
